Rick and Belinda Gilbert divide their time between Naperville, Illinois and Manhattan, New York. Rick has been a amateur astronomer since he was a teenager and has been imaging since 1997. However, all of Rick's imaging is now done remotely using the SSRO telescopes. When not imaging, Rick spends his free time with his family or engaged in his other hobbies of book collecting, golf and tennis.

This view from my study in New York unfortunately comes with magnitude 1 skies and is a good justification for remote imaging in New Mexico and Chile.
