Description

Sharpless 2-132 is a fairly dim H-II emission nebula in the constellation Cepheus.  It lies around 10,000 light years away.  It is illuminated by two Wolf-Rayett stars (including HD211853 at the center of the image) and several OB stars.  Just to the left of this is the double star WDS ABH 164.

This image is a portion of the larger nebula (which has been called the Dumbledore nebula).  A view of this larger nebula can be found here.  Note this portion is near the upper middle of the larger image and has been processed to bring out more details.  Again, a mosaic of this area may be worth considering.
